What is My E-Haat ?
The idea behind this project is to create a level playing field for local artisans and SHGs in the virtual marketplace. We aim to help the marginalized artisans so that they can evolve as an entrepreneur and unwind themselves from long supply chain intermediaries.
Developing a productive, learning as well as skill showcasing environment for the upliftment of needy and weaker sections of the society is what My E-Haat is meant for.
Why we need My E-Haat ?
The E-Commerce industry in India reached $20 billion in 2015 to $60 billion in early 2020. While it was expected to reach $188 by 2025, it has already touched the $100 billion mark by early 2021.
Such a sudden boost is the result of the ‘New Normal’ which came into existence due to the pandemic. Due to this, we are now expecting to touch the $200 billion mark very soon.
How NGOs, SHGs and Artisans get benefited with "My E-Haat" ?
‘My E-Haat’ is an online platform specially designed for local manufacturers like NGOs, SHGs, and Artisans across the country. The partner members are allowed to list their products along with the necessary details. The platform will allow the sellers to connect to their potential buyers and will also facilitate an easy buying process for the same. The buying and sale process begins directly from the manufacturer’s house and ends with the completion of the buyer’s need.
