My E-Haat Refund Policy for Returns & Cancellations
Refund Policy
This policy explains how and when refunds are processed for orders placed on www.myehaat.in.
1. When Are Refunds Issued?
Refunds may be issued in the following situations:
- Approved returns (as per our Returns & Exchange Policy)
- Order cancellation by you, subject to our cancellation rules
- Order cancellation by My E-Haat due to uncontrollable reasons (stock unavailability, operational issues, logistics constraints, etc.)
- Non-delivery due to issues attributable to My E-Haat or our logistics partners, after proper verification
2. Refund Modes
Based on your original payment method, we will usually process refunds as follows:
Prepaid orders (Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI, Wallets, etc.):
- Refund is initiated to the original payment source, wherever technically possible.
Cash on Delivery (COD) orders (if applicable):
- Refunds are made via bank transfer / UPI / store credit after you share valid bank/UPI details.
In some cases, we may also offer a coupon code / store credit, especially for promotional or discounted orders, subject to specific campaign terms.
3. Refund Timelines
Once your return is received and approved, or once an eligible cancellation is processed:
- My E-Haat will initiate the refund within 5–7 working days.
The time taken for the refund to reflect depends on your bank/payment gateway:
- 3–10 working days for cards and net banking
- 1–4 working days for UPI / wallets / store credit
For COD orders (if applicable), bank transfer timelines may vary based on complete and accurate details provided by you.
4. Deductions (Where Applicable)
We reserve the right to make appropriate deductions from your refund where:
- The return is due to customer preference (not a defect/wrong item), and reverse shipping costs are applicable.
- The product is used, damaged, or missing components/tags; refunds may be adjusted or rejected after quality check.
- COD convenience fees or other non-refundable charges were applied (if mentioned during purchase).
All applicable deductions will be communicated to you.
5. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will generally not be provided in cases such as:
- Items not eligible for return (per Returns & Exchange Policy)
- Return raised after the allowed return window
- Returned product fails quality check (used, washed, damaged, missing parts)
- Gift cards, vouchers, and promotional freebies
6. How to Check Refund Status
If you have not received your refund within the expected time, please:
- Check your bank/UPI/wallet statement
- Contact your bank/payment provider for pending credits
If the issue persists, write to us at contact@myehaat.in with your order ID and refund reference (if provided).
