Returns & Exchange Policy

Many of our products are handcrafted by artisans and small producer groups. Slight variations in color, texture, weave, or finish are natural and part of the charm of handmade products. These variations are not considered defects.

Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Eligibility for Returns / Exchanges

You may request a return or exchange for eligible products if:

  • A return/exchange request is raised within 2 days of delivery, AND
  • The product is:
    • Unused and unworn
    • Unwashed and undamaged
    • With all original tags, accessories and packaging intact
  • The item is not in the “non-returnable” category.

We reserve the right to refuse returns/exchanges if these conditions are not met.

2. Non-Returnable / Non-Exchangeable Items

For safety, hygiene and commercial reasons, the following are generally not eligible for return or exchange (unless received damaged/defective):

  • Intimate / personal use items
  • Certain types of jewelry (e.g., earrings, nose pins, etc.)
  • Customised / made-to-order products
  • Products marked as “Final Sale”, “Non-returnable” or similar on the product page
  • Gift cards / vouchers (if any)

Please always check the product page for specific return eligibility.

3. Return / Exchange Window & Process

Time limit:

You must raise a return/exchange request within 2 calendar days from the date of delivery.

How to raise a request:

Email us at contact@myehaat.in with:

  • Order ID
  • Product name/SKU
  • Reason for return/exchange
  • Clear photos (for damage/defect/incorrect item)

Approval & pick-up:

Once your request is reviewed, we will:

  • Arrange a reverse pick-up where available, OR
  • Request you to self-ship the product to our designated address (shared via email).

Quality check:

Once we receive the returned product, our team will inspect it.

If approved, we will process:

  • An exchange (if requested and stock is available), OR
  • A refund / credit note as per our Refund Policy

If the item fails quality check (e.g. used, damaged, missing tags), we may decline the return and ship it back to you.

4. Reverse Shipping Charges

If the return is due to our error (wrong item, incorrect size, manufacturing defect, transit damage confirmed by us):

  • We will generally bear the reverse shipping cost or reimburse reasonable courier charges (against a valid receipt, if self-shipped).

If the return is due to personal reasons (did not like the product, size/fit issue, change of mind):

  • We may deduct a reverse shipping fee from your refund, OR
  • Ask you to self-ship the item to us.

Exact details will be communicated at the time of approving your return.

5. Exchanges

Exchanges are subject to stock availability.

If the requested size/variant is not available:

  • We may offer an alternative product, store credit, or a refund, as applicable.

6. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products

If you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect product:

Please inform us at contact@myehaat.in within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Order ID
  • Unboxing / product photos and (if possible) a short video

We will evaluate the case and, if approved, arrange replacement/refund as per our Refund Policy.
